I, too would like this question answered. I've read the farming guide but it actually doesn't help you find good farming spots. When I reach level 20 I'm gonna start farming.(I have a good hammer) and BTW I have prophecies,Factions,Nightfall, Gw:EoTN but only a character in prophecies.
in prophecies I told Crystal Desert was good. But it seems like all the good farming spots are in NF. |

Loot scaling made just about all solo farming spots unprofitable.
And yes, there's farming forum just for that. |

If you have completed NF then Remains of Shalahja in HM isa good spot,Gold drops, occasional(very!) drops and lots of items to sell when you get back to town I avg about 2K a run which can take as little as 10 minutes, plus whilst there you get points for SS/LB as well

If you want to solo bosses for greens there's a really good sin solo farming build that can solo like over a hundred different bosses and is easy to use. Just find it on wiki it should be A/E solo green farmer.

Go to PvXWiki and look for PvE builds for your class of choice. I'm sure you will find plenty of builds and brief guides on how to farm with them.
Alternatively, there's always the Farming forum with its stickied lists of farm builds. |

Another point - Use Hard Mode for farming. Normal Mode drops are useless if you you need to make some money for whatever you want to buy.
Also - set yourself up with a solo build. Even with "loot scaling" solo is still the most profitable way. Areas are the same as listed in the farming forums. In Elona, farming in wurms in the sulphor, also any of the lower level areas in HM that you can clear out solo in the least time - this you will only find out by testing solo builds for yourself and running them through areas to see how fast/efficiently you can do an area with your build (the area differs for my necro and for my monk - each is more efficient at a particular area) Don't expect many people to tell you where they farm effectively - most poeple are paranoid enough about the "nerf-bat" phenomenon to be afraid (rightly or wrongly so) that if "their" farming spot becomes known it will be nerfed. Most of all - enjoy working out a solo farm for yourself and finding effective areas, because if it becomes a chore - then it's just like work -.- Sky99 - Tyria does have some good areas - and soloing the Hydras in the desert is supposed to be profitable. Also if you set up a holy damage dealer, there are many places with undead that are easily farmed - Gates of Kryta mission, "Hoardes of Undead" quest, all the Undead out from Bergen etc (just farm stacks and stacks of Decayed Orr Emblems and sell them for 150 - 400gp each come festival times). You'd first compelete all games, maybe with few chars. You need to know game mechanics and trics and how the game works to farm properly. I think that the best farming places atm are uw and fow, which you can solo and doa ofcourse. I'm not all sure about the prices atm, but I'm sure that foundry 105/famine is nice way to make money, also solo trapping in stygian veil. And btw, if you say "when i reach lvl 20, im gonna start farmin (i've a good hammer)" you look like a real noob, not enough experienced to farm properly.
